Emissions
One of the objectives of the MACEB Project was to demonstrate the approach to mitigate warming of Arctic climate by black carbon emissions reduction at mid-latitudes, especially in Europe. The emissions of black carbon, organic carbon and sulfur dioxide calculated in the project are introduced by different scenarios, source sectors and world regions. Additionally, the Finnish emission scenarios are introduced with special focus on residential wood combustion.
